Lauren Fontenot

Lauren Fonteonot has been an assistant dance instructor since 2002 instructing in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Tumbling, Ballet Tone & Stretch, and Aerobics. She is a second-generation dancer and instructor at Gerami Academy and graduated from dance in 2004. Lauren has performed in numerous Mardi Gras Balls and the Side Show with Jazz Extensions Dance Company. She is currently a member of both Jazz Extensions Dance Company and Classical Connections of Louisiana.

Dancing is not the only Art that Lauren enjoys. She is a Visual Arts, Sculpture major at ULL. Lauren enjoys the creative expression and confidence dancing can foster and wants to convey this to students at Gerami Academy.
